Some of the Westfield W-League’s biggest names have won the competition’s top scorer award, and Larissa Crummer already has one hand on this season’s title.
Just past the halfway point of the campaign, the Melbourne City forward has accrued an incredible tally of ten goals from just six outings, following her fourth double of the season on Sunday against Melbourne Victory.
With her nearest challenger on just four goals, Crummer is odds-on to take the title previously won by Leena Khamis, Michelle Heyman, Kyah Simon, Kate Gill and England forward Jodie Taylor.
Remarkably, only two other teams have scored more goals combined than the Queensland-raised Crummer has notched herself.
The Westfield Matildas forward is even on track to overhaul Heyman’s record tally of 15 goals in Canberra United’s all-conquering 2011/12 campaign.
The nearest challengers are City teammates Kim Little and Marianna Tabain, Adelaide United’s Rosie Sutton and Tiarn Powell, plus Canberra United's Ashleigh Sykes with each on four goals.
