The Glory are in rare form but Adelaide have genuine cause to believe they can cause an upset.
The Lady Reds caused a surprise last weekend with a 3-2 victory at Canberra United – a first-ever win in the nation’s capital - for their opening three-pointer of the season.
After a stuttering start to the campaign Adelaide are finally showing signs of reaching the kind of form they achieved last season when they fell agonisingly short of a maiden finals appearance.
In-form Glory forward Sam Kerr missed last weekend’s tough win over Sydney FC with a hamstring complaint, and is again set to be missing
So too, the Glory will be without influential playmaker Collette McCallum who is being rested for the trip to Adelaide.
Glory striker Kate Gill, who has netted a league-high 10 goals this term, will be looking to celebrate her 50th Westfield W-League match in style.
