Given the quality of players on show locals fans can expect a world-class match, with top spot on the Westfield W-League ladder up for grabs.

Historically these two teams produce a cavalcade of goals with the highest score and highest aggregate both featuring contests between the pair. A remarkable 11-0 win for the Sky Blues three years ago, was followed by a dose of revenge the following season as the Glory prevailed with a barely believable 7-5 scoreline.

There is every reason to be believe there will be a similar goal avalanche here. The Glory are league’s top scorers, and boast the strike power of Kate Gill who has netted ten goals in just five games, while their opponents set a new high for an aggregate of goals last season.

The present day sees the Glory achieving an unprecedented five wins straight to start the season. A win here against their closest rivals will keep them on track for a maiden premiership.

The Glory have once again named an unchanged squad, which has no doubt proved a benefit for Jamie’s Harnwell’s side and helped their impressive momentum.

The Sky Blues, for their part, travel across the Nullarbor without captain Renee Rollason and teenage midfielder Natalie Tobin, who are both unavailable.
