Melbourne City boss Rado Vidosic has taken out the Westfield W-League Coach of the Month award for January.
Vidosic amassed almost half of the vote (45%) to edge past Melbourne Victory mentor Jeff Hopkins, who finished with 30%.
Brisbane Roar boss Jake Goodship was next best with 18%, while Perth Glory’s Bobby Despotovski the final nominee, picking up 7% of the votes.
It’s no surprise that Vidosic has taken out the gong for January, with City firing on all cylinders.
They have opened up a six point lead at the top of the ladder heading into the final few rounds and appear on course for the Premiers’ Plate.
City began January with a professional 2-0 win over Brisbane Roar in Queensland, before 4-0 and 2-0 wins over Canberra United and Newcastle Jets respectively.
Making their sensational run of form even more impressive is they haven’t conceded a goal since a 2-1 win over Sydney FC back in early December.
Melbourne Victory striker Natasha Dowie was voted Player of the Month for January.
