Rado Vidosic - Melbourne City

Vidosic has Melbourne City firing on all cylinders and in the box seat to take out the Premiers Plate after a superb January.

The month began with a professional 2-0 win over Brisbane Roar in Queensland, before 4-0 and 2-0 wins over Canberra United and Newcastle Jets gave City a six point advantage atop the ladder.

City have not conceded a goal since January 8 against Sydney FC, and now appear to be hitting their stride in front of goal too. It would take some effort to overhaul the three-time Champions from this point on.

Jeff Hopkins - Melbourne Victory

The reigning Premiers are back in business thanks to four straight wins, three of which arrived in an impressive January period.

Hopkins oversaw a 2-1 triumph over Newcastle Jets at the beginning of the month, before easily accounting for Adelaide United (3-0) and Canberra United (3-0).

Natasha Dowie, Melina Ayres and Darian Jenkins are all on fire in front of goal, and Victory are in a good position to continue their bid for Finals Football and beyond.

Bobby Despotovski - Perth Glory

Perth have endured a disappointing season in comparison to last campaign's Grand Final achievement but January showed Glory are not letting 2019/20 slip away from them without a fight.

Despotovski's side showed immense character to stage a late fightback and claim a 2-2 draw against Adelaide United on January 3, and although they were outclassed by Western Sydney Wanderers next up, a 4-2 win over Newcastle Jets highlighted that no side will particularly fancy taking on the WA club in the season's closing rounds.

Jake Goodship - Brisbane Roar

Brisbane's young boss masterminded what will very likely be the result of the 2019/20 campaign - a 4-0 thrashing of Western Sydney Wanderers on January 12.

The Roar were pipped 2-0 by Premiership favourites Melbourne City prior to that clash, however, an impressive 0-0 draw on the road to reigning Champions Sydney FC on January 16 has Goodship's side well poised to make a dash into the top four.
