The Westfield Young Matildas have sealed their qualification for the 2019 AFC U-19 Women's Championship in Thailand following a 4-1 win over Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
Melbourne Victory youngster Kyra Cooney-Cross opened the scoring right before the half-time break with a tidy finish to give the Young Matildas a 1-0 lead.
Australia had the majority of the chances in the first 45 minutes, but it was an early blitz in the second half that sealed their superiority.
Princess Ibini, who was part of Sydney FC's title-winning team in 2018/19, doubled the lead on 47 minutes, and it took just another five minutes for Mary Fowler to make it 3-0 to the Young Matildas.
Uzbekistan pulled a goal back in the 78th minute, but it proved to be just a consolation goal, with Chelsea Blissett adding a fourth for the Young Matildas 10 minutes later.
The Westfield Young Matildas join hosts Thailand, Japan, DPR Korea, Korea Republic and China PR as qualified nations for the 2019 AFC U-19 Women's Championship.
